Villa Alba is a special place in the heart of Puglia. We (Simon and Joy) loved this area from the first visit. When we first came to Puglia, we were dating and spent a long weekend driving over 900km. We even looked at over 20 different houses. We saw Otranto and Ostuni and went to Maldive Beach.
We put in an offer, but the deal fell through. A few months later, an off-market property popped up, and we had an opportunity to buy a beautiful 1930s home complete with a pool house and trullo. The lot was large, and the weather was amazing.
The house was purchased, and we started the arduous task of making the property our own. The pool had to be put in, and the house was ripped back to the brick. All of the electrics and plumbing had to be replaced, but it was an exciting project. Today, the house is beautiful and fresh with wonderful opportunities for people to enjoy for years ahead.
